Ozarka College in Mountain View will offer photography and Photoshop continuing education courses, beginning in December. Each course will be taught by Patrick Ward and will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Students may register for individual courses at $25 each or for all three courses in the series for $60. Students ages 60 and over will receive a 20% discount when they register.The first course will take place on December 4, 2017and cover camera use. This class will help students become confident in using their digital SLR camera settings, and students will be given the tools needed to maximize their camera to fit their personal shooting style.The second course will take place on December 5 and cover beginning photography shooting. This course will give each student the skills needed to properly take a photo, and will go over portrait, scenic, waterfall, casual and sports photographyThe final course will meet on December 6 and will cover Photoshop. Both, beginner and novice photographers will be shown tips and tricks in Photoshop that will enhance and alter the images they have taken. A tutorial will be given to alter photos in light balance, color and removal of those !pesky' power lines and other items from images. This class will be best understood if students bring their laptop so they can click through the processes and tools.Seating is limited!
