Ozarka College in Ash Flat will host a mini-clinic, open to the public, on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. The clinic will take place in the nursing lab from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will offer blood pressure, pulse, respiration, blood sugar, height, weight, BMI and visions checks, completely free of charge. Flu immunizations will also be available with no out-of-pocket expenses, but those who have health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid are asked to bring proper documentation for billing purposes.
Ozarka's practical nursing students will also be hosting a food drive and bake sale, with donations going to Mission of Hope food bank. Each person who donates a non-perishable food item will be entered for a chance to win a $25 Walmart gift card.
