Ozarka College is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Amanda Engelhardt as the director of Career Pathways. Prior to this role, Engelhardt served as the career support services facilitator in Career Pathways. In her previous position, Engelhardt was primarily responsible for identifying students' interests, skills, needs, barriers and resources; assisting in the development, delivery, and promotion of services offered by the Career Pathways Initiative; and assisting students in job placement by developing effective resumes and cover letters."Amanda has a wealth of knowledge and experience working with the Career Pathways Initiative, " stated Josh Wilson, Ozarka College associate vice president of student services. "She strives to always put students first and I am confident she will continue to serve the program well in her new role as director. "Engelhardt holds an Associate of Arts in General Education from Ozarka College, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arkansas State University, and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Arkansas Tech University. "Since joining Ozarka College four years ago, I've learned so much about higher education, but even more about the many struggles and barriers students face, " said Amanda Engelhardt, director of Career Pathways. "I am very fortunate to be part of a program that provides support services to students to help overcome those barriers. It is very rewarding to build rapport with students, see them succeed, and know that we were part of their journey. "
