The Ozarka College Bookstore, located on the Melbourne campus, will be open Saturday, Aug. 3 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. to allow students to take advantage of the Arkansas Sales Tax Holiday.According to the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, the “sales tax holiday allows shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain school supplies, school art supplies, school instructional materials, and clothing free of state and local sales or use tax.”Students who have financial aid in place will be allowed to charge textbooks to their Ozarka College student account. This will be the first day students will be allowed to charge to their accounts, and only textbooks and school supplies will be eligible for charge.
