To better serve potential students who have jobs or other obligations that may prevent them from attending classes during the day, Ozarka College has expanded its online and evening course offerings for the fall semester.Students who enroll in the evening courses will have the opportunity to complete a degree in its entirety through either on-campus courses or online delivery.As part of the evening course curriculum, the College also provides many hybrid courses. A hybrid course allows students to attend class on campus one evening a week and complete the remaining coursework online. Traditional classes are also available.All four Ozarka College campuses will provide extended hours of operation until 8 p.m. on July 30, Aug. 1, 6 and 8 to allow students to explore degree options and to register for classes. Student services representatives will be available to answer questions, including financial aid. Orientation sessions will be held from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Mountain View Campus on Monday, Aug. 5, at the Ash Flat Campus on Aug. 6, at the Mammoth Spring Campus on Aug. 7, and at the Melbourne Campus on Aug. 8. A special evening orientation session is scheduled at the Melbourne campus on Thursday, Aug. 15, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. A make-up orientation will be held at the Melbourne Campus on Friday, Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for anyone who was unable to attend an earlier session.
