Mammoth Spring American Legion Post Announces Ozarka College Scholarship Recipients

 The American Legion Post #55 in Mammoth Spring, AR announced the recipients of their first annual Post #55 Ozarka College Scholarship. The recipients for the spring 2019 semester were Hayden Savage and Devon Cray.  A third scholarship was funded by the Spring River Lions Club and was awarded to Michael Keller.These $150.00 scholarships covered the cost of tuition for one 3 credit hour concurrent/dual credit course at Ozarka College and is restricted to juniors and seniors enrolled at Mammoth Spring High School. They are available for both college and vocational coursework.Ozarka College provides a reduced tuition rate of $50 per credit hour for students who are enrolled in college courses while still enrolled in high school. These concurrent/dual credit courses allow students to get a jump start on their college education while still in high school.Mammoth Spring students who are interested in applying for the 2019-2020 school year should contact MSHS counselor, Kim Ragsdale.
