Brandon Muse of Mountain View, Arkansas, has officially passed his Instrument Checkride, demonstrating his ability to fly an airplane by instrumentation alone! Muse plans to work as a CFI after getting his commercial license, and then go on to work at FedEx. When asked about what it was like passing his check ride, Brandon said, "My instrument check ride was definitely tougher than my private check ride, but it was a big relief seeing all of my hard work and training come together. " His instructor, Tim Ambrose, said, "Brandon did very well and I'm excited to see him progress into the next stages of his training. " Brandon will be continuing his training with Ozarka's aviation program this spring while completing his Associates of Applied Science-Commercial Pilot Degree. Upon completion of Ozarka's FAA approved Part 141 flight school, students have the opportunity to complete multi-engine commercial training at Ozarka College. For more information about flight training at Ozarka College or the aviation program, please call John Catlett, director of aviation, at 870.368.2391 or email: flying@ozarka.edu. Discovery flights may also be scheduled with the Ozarka College aviation program.*** PHOTO CAPTION: (L-R) Muse shakes hands with Instructor, Tim Ambrose.
