Governor Asa Hutchinson recently announced the appointment of Mike Watson to the Ozarka College Board of Trustees. His seven-year term will expire in 2025. Trustee Watson is a graduate of Melbourne High School and holds a BSE in Kinesiology from the University of Central Arkansas, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.
Watson began his career as a coach/teacher at Melbourne High School from 1998-2010 and has been the State Farm Agent in Highland since 2011. In May, Mike became the State Farm Agent for Melbourne as well.
"It is an honor to have Governor Hutchinson appoint me to serve on the Board of Trustee's. Ozarka has made a difference in my life and I hope I can make a difference with my time on the board. I am excited to get started, " said Watson."We are very fortunate to have someone so committed to the mission of Ozarka College join the Board of Trustees, " commented Dr. Richard Dawe, President of Ozarka College.
