Ozarka College's spring 2018 A+ Essentials and Networking Essentials classes concluded the semester on a high note. Every student that took the final exam met or exceeded the score required to earn the Network Pro and PC Pro certifications! This opportunity is available for Ozarka students working to obtain a Technical Certificate in Information Science Technology (IST).The TestOut Network Pro exam tests over many objectives relating to networking; cables and connectors, networking devices, Ethernet, IP configuration, wireless networking, network management, and network security. Nicholas Britton, Surachet Masters, and Dalton Withers successfully passed this exam.The TestOut PC Pro exam asks students to install, repair, configure, secure, and manage computer hardware, operating systems, and software in home or corporate environments. Nicholas Britton, Xavier Fischer, Surachet Masters, Joseph Robinson, and Allen Wallis all earned this professional certification."All Ozarka IST classes include a strong hands-on focus, " said Ken Barton, Ozarka College IST program director. "We believe that learning computers and networking require a practical approach. Not only will you learn the concepts, you will do the actual work in a lab environment.
