Ten students from Ozarka College – Mountain View attended “Smart Scheduling,” a Student Success Center workshop that explained how to plan with the end in mind.
Kay Adkins, student success advising specialist, presented the workshop to Courtney Kurpiel's College Success class; it was open to all students.
Topics included committing to a program, running and reading a degree audit, plotting a course to completion, selecting and registering for classes and planning now for the next level.
Students were encouraged to use worksheets to plot out their paths to completion and to plan a schedule for the fall semester to present to their advisors.![]()
