Ozarka College in Melbourne, Arkansas will be the hosting location for a free diabetic seminar, presented by the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension and the Baxter Regional Medical Center. The seminar will be held in the lecture hall of the John E. Miller Education Complex on October 11, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.County Extension Agent, Karla Dement, stated, "The seminar will cover information on reducing your risk for heart disease and diabetes medication updates which will be given by RDLC Coordinator, Jodi Bodenhamer, RN, CDE. Jan Halligan, RD, LC, CDE will also cover information regarding heart smart recipes and offer a heart healthy cooking demonstration. "Attendees will receive free recipes, give-a-ways and much more!
