Edwards Receives Smith Memorial Scholarship

Wendell Edwards of Sidney, Arkansas is an incoming freshman at Ozarka College and the first recipient of the Tom Smith Memorial Scholarship. Edwards, a 2017 graduate from Melbourne High School, will receive $250 to be applied to the fall 2017 semester and another $250 for spring 2018."I was so grateful to learn I had received this scholarship, " said Edwards.  "This scholarship will be very helpful to me as I pursue my college education at Ozarka this fall.  I deeply appreciate the family of Tom Smith for providing this opportunity to me in memory of their beloved father, son, and brother. "Tom W. Smith's family is honored to partner with Ozarka College to offer this scholarship. Tom graduated from Melbourne High School in 1980 and from Arkansas State University in 1984.
