"customer Service" Seminar Is Today

The Institutional Professional Development Committee of Ozarka College will offer “Customer Service,” a presentation by Jason Lawrence, vice president of administration at Ozarka College, on Friday, April 19, from 1-2 p.m. in the John E. Miller Education Complex Lecture Hall on the Melbourne campus. The seminar is available to Ozarka College students, employees and the general public at no charge. During his presentation, Lawrence will discuss the importance of customer service in both the public and private sector. He will offer practical suggestions that participants can use to enhance the quality of service at their organizations. Lawrence has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arkansas State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He began working as vice president of administration at Ozarka College in January. In his role at the college, he is responsible for overseeing the bookstore, cafeteria, physical plant, grounds, safety and all non-academic functions at all locations. Previously, he worked in medical device sales at Johnson and Johnson. He also has served as the director of student resources at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville and as a faculty member and distance learning specialist at Ozarka College.
