Ozarka College raised $3,967.21 for the 2012 Komen Arkansas Race for the Cure. Ozarka College was named the second highest fundraising team in the School category.
The Ozarka College Race for the Cure team, led by Katie Wilson, Deltha Shell and Molly Carpenter, held fundraising events throughout the month of October 2012. These events included bake sales and chili cook-offs on many Ozarka campuses as well as off-campus events. Off-campus events included a variety show at Words & Afterwords in Hardy and the Race for the Cure team working as servers at The Hawk's Nest in Melbourne.![]()
