Students enrolled in the Criminal Investigation course this fall at Ozarka College – Ash Flat will get hands-on experience by working a small mock crime scene on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
An area will be taped off just west of the buildings in the lawn and will give students the opportunity to utilize what they have learned with different search-grid patterns. The exercise is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
This will only be an exercise to further educate students in the Criminal Justice and Corrections program at Ozarka College.
On Thursday, Sept. 12, Lt. Brent Everett from the Independence County Sheriff’s Department will visit with the class and speak on sketching crime scenes.
