MELBOURNE, AR (June 29, 2021) - Practical Nursing graduates at Ozarka College were honored Tuesday, June 29, at a Capping and Pinning Ceremony on the Melbourne campus.Students recognized at the event were as follows: Ash Flat campus - Joy Barton, Tyler Batterton, Emma Bray, Jennifer Case, Bailey DeVaul, Grace Dunn, Katelyn Goldsborough, Savanna Ingram, Chazz Jewel, Leslie Langford, Kayley Payne, Tonya Schamel, Micah Ann Schuetz, Cheyenne Shelton, Cassandra Smallwood, Michelle Smoot, Tiffany Valenzuela, Mamie Weatherspoon, Joy Wood Mountain View campus - Chloe Burrier, Ilene Dickerson, Tracy Gammill, Kendra Garrahan, Taylor Garrett, April Harris, Sarah Huff, Tyler Lancaster, Drucilla Rodriguez, Jordan Tolar, Lesley Wallace, Ethan WilsonDr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka College President, welcomed guests attending the ceremony. Dr. Josh Wilson, Ozarka College Vice President of Advancement, offered the invocation. This semester's Florence Nightingale Awards went to Tracy Gammill of Mountain View, and Cheyenne Shelton of Ash Flat. This award is given to a student in each program who exemplifies the true meaning of nursing with hard work and a true dedication to the profession.
