Grassroots Equipment and Outdoors is partnering with Townsend Spice and Supply to present Paul Harris and the Cleverlys at Ozarka College on September 23.The concert will be held in the John E. Miller Education Complex Auditorium in Melbourne and will begin at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Earnie Blackley Memorial Scholarship Fund. Remaining funds will support Steaks for Sheepdogs, an organization which comes to the aid of fallen officers and their families."Losing Earnie was a huge blow to this community, and we felt like hosting a concert in his memory would be the least we could do to honor a life dedicated to law enforcement and public service, " said Shane Lynn, owner of Townsend Spice & Supply. "It is our hope that this fundraiser will endow a scholarship in his name. "Tickets are on sale for $20 online at foundation.ozarka.edu. Originally planned for April 2020, the benefit concert to honor Sheriff Blackley was rescheduled due to the pandemic.
