Campbell Hired As Education Instructor

Ozarka College is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Maggie Campbell as the new Education Instructor."We are always excited to bring back one of our former students as the next generation of stellar faculty. Maggie's experience in both public and higher education, as well as her enthusiasm for students, makes her a perfect fit in our instructional team," said Dr. Chris Lorch, Vice President of Academics at Ozarka College.An Ozarka alum and graduate of the program, Campbell will lead the Associate of Science in Education program and be responsible for not only for teaching the coursework, but also advising students and helping them transfer to the four-year institution of their choice. "I am a first-generation student. I am thrilled to call Ozarka home once again. Ozarka was one of my first stepping stones to success in my journey towards becoming an educator, " said Maggie. "Without it, I wouldn't be where I am today. I hope as the teacher education program coordinator here at Ozarka, I am able to better serve our students by guiding the next generation of educations who will further benefit our schools and community. "A native of Melbourne, AR, Campbell holds an Associate of Science degree in Teaching from Ozarka College, a Bachelor's in Mid-Level 4-8 from Arkansas State University, a Master's in Reading K-12 from Arkansas State University, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership Building Level Admin P-12 from Arkansas State University.
